Christian Roessing studied medicine at the Charité in Berlin, one of the leading and most research-intensive medical institutions in Germany, and at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago (USA). He completed his specialist training in aesthetic and plastic surgery at the Johanniter Hospital in Bonn in the Department of Plastic Surgery and in the Department of Aesthetic Surgery at the Luisen Hospital in Aachen.

Christian Roessing completed his training as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery there in 2007 and was appointed senior physician at the clinic. Christian Roessing is a sought-after surgical specialist in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Head Physician and deputized for Head Physician Dr. Grandel until autumn 2010.

Christian Roessing successfully completed his specialist training in hand surgery in 2009. As part of this residency, he completed several internships at various renowned institutions for plastic surgery, including Northwestern Medical School Chicago, Illinois, USA under Dr. P. McKinney and Dr. Mustoe and at the University of Houston, Texas, USA.

In 2010, Christian Roessing opened the world-renowned Metropolitan Aesthetics practice in Berlin and Cologne together with his colleague Dr. Volker Rippmann.

At the same time, he was appointed Chief Physician of the Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at KMG Kliniken Brandenburg. From 2011 to 2017, he held the position of Chief Physician. In this role, Christian Roessing received authorization for further training in plastic and aesthetic surgery from the Brandenburg State Medical Association. In 2023, Christian Roessing also decided to carry out treatments in Zurich. There he specializes in facelifts including eye and neck lifts, breast augmentation, longevity medicine and non-invasive procedures. Christian Roessing is a speaker and participant at international medical conferences where he presents his research and publications. He is strongly committed to the training of residents in the field of plastic surgery. His top priority is to maintain the highest quality standards in his treatments and to constantly research new and innovative techniques in his field. He is also a member of the German Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRÄC), the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), the European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (ESPRAS) and an associate member of the German Society of Surgery (DGCH).
