Surgical facial treatments

  • The deep-plane facelift is a demanding operation in which the deeper layers of tissue in the face are repositioned.

This enables a comprehensive and long-term correction of wrinkles, sagging cheeks and slack skin.

The procedure requires many years of surgical experience, as a natural-looking result should be achieved through precise incision and preparation.

Buccal fat pad removal

  • Buccal fat pad removal is a procedure that removes excess fatty tissue in the cheeks. This can help to emphasize facial contours and shape cheeks. We usually make small incisions in the oral mucosa to access and reduce the fat deposits. This usually heals quickly and with few complications.

Eyebrowlift

  • An eyebrow lift lifts sagging eyebrows to achieve a more open look. This can be achieved using various techniques, such as removing skin directly above the eyebrows or making minimal incisions in the hairline.

Face/neck lift

  • The face and neck lift is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin from the face and neck to smooth sagging skin. We tighten underlying muscles and tissue layers to achieve a lasting and natural result. This procedure can give you a significantly younger appearance, but requires adequate recovery time to allow swelling and bruising to subside.

Upper/lower eyelid blepharoplasty

  • Upper and lower blepharoplasty are separate procedures that aim to rejuvenate the eye area. In upper blepharoplasty, excess skin and possibly muscle and fatty tissue is removed to create a more open look.

Lower blepharoplasty can reduce sagging skin and bags under the eyes by removing and/or redistributing excess skin or fatty tissue.

These procedures can make your eyes look more alert and younger.

Other Surgical treatments:

  • In autologous fat transfer, also known as fat grafting or lipofilling, fat is harvested by liposuction from an area of the patient's body, usually the abdomen, thighs or flanks. The extracted fat is then purified and processed. In the case of micro- or nanofat, the fat cells are mechanically broken down into smaller particles. This enables finer injections that can be used to treat more sensitive areas such as under the eyes or to improve skin texture. The processed fat is injected into the face, buttocks or any other area that requires volume, contouring or resurfacing.

  • For chin augmentation with an implant, a small incision is made either under the chin or in the mouth. A pocket is created in front of the chin bone, behind the muscle, into which a plastic implant is inserted and fixed. This procedure aims to improve the balance between the chin and other facial features and can have a significant impact on the patient's overall appearance and profile.

  • The bullhorn lip lift is a special type of lip lift. An incision is made under the nose that follows the natural wrinkles and resembles the shape of a bull's horn. A small strip of skin is then removed. By lifting and tightening the remaining skin, the distance between the upper lip and nose is effectively shortened, making the lip appear fuller and more youthful. This procedure leaves a scar, but this is usually well hidden under/in the nose.

  • Ear correction or otoplasty is performed to change the size, shape or alignment of the ears. In the case of protruding ears, cartilage can be reshaped and sutures placed to hold the ear closer to the head. In some cases, the cartilage or skin can be removed completely. Earlobe correction specifically targets the earlobes and not the entire ear. Enlarged earlobes can be reduced in size, stretched or torn earlobes (often caused by earrings) can be repaired or aged and wrinkled earlobes can be rejuvenated. The incisions are usually closed with sutures and scarring is generally minimal.

Minimally invasive facial treatments:

Neuromodulator to relax mimic facial wrinkles

  • A neuromodulator is a substance that is specifically injected into muscles. It temporarily blocks the nerve signals to the muscles, actively reducing mimic wrinkles. This is particularly effective for forehead wrinkles, frown lines and laugh lines. In the long term, a lasting relaxation of the corresponding

regions to a significant improvement in the existing static wrinkles.

Thread lifting

  • During a thread lift, special threads are inserted under the skin to tighten and lift the skin. The threads trigger a reaction in the tissue that leads to collagen and elastin production. This contributes to long-term tightening and improvement in skin quality, which is usually clearly visible and long-lasting 3-4 months after the treatment along the inserted thread.

  • Morpheus 8 is a medical microneedling procedure in which fine needles are inserted into the skin using radio frequency energy. This stimulates collagen production, tightens the skin and can also destroy fatty tissue at a certain skin depth.

The treatment can be used for various areas of the face and body.

  • Hyaluronic acid is a synthetically produced gel substance that is injected into the skin to hydrate, contour and smooth wrinkles. It can be used to plump up lips or emphasize cheekbones. The results are immediately visible and the hyaluronic acid breaks down naturally over time.

Sculptra ®

  • Sculptra is a series of injections of polylactic acid under the skin. Over the course of several months, this stimulates collagen production and leads to a gradual improvement in skin tone, volume and quality. The results are long-lasting and very natural. The polylactic acid breaks down completely without leaving any residue.

More Minimally invasive treatments:

  • Autologous serum is a cosmetic procedure. The serum is injected into the skin using various techniques. The growth factors contained in the serum stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration, which leads to a long-term improvement and rejuvenation of the skin structure.

  • Radiesse® is a classic filler consisting of calcium hydroxyapatite. It is used to fill wrinkles and lines, contour the face and stimulate collagen production and offers longer lasting results compared to other classic hyaluronic acid fillers.

  • Polynucleotides (PDRN) are derived from salmon DNA and have skin-repairing and regenerating properties, promote collagen synthesis and improve skin texture. Several treatments at intervals of 2-3 weeks show the best and longest-lasting results. Polynucleotides are now available specifically for the face, eyes and to promote hair growth.

  • Profhilo is an injection treatment that contains a high concentration of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and is usually injected into 5 points on the mid-face. This achieves a significant improvement in skin hydration and stimulates collagen and elastin production. Several treatments at intervals of 3-6 weeks show the best and longest-lasting results.

  • NCTF stands for "New Cellular Treatment Factor". It is a mixture of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and various vitamins, minerals, amino acids and coenzymes. NCTF is often used as mesotherapy, a technique in which the substance is injected superficially into the skin to improve its quality and hydration.
