Dr. Volker Rippmann
Dr. Volker Rippmann is a renowned specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery. He completed his studies in general medicine at renowned universities such as Frankfurt, Munich, Innsbruck, Chicago and New York (USA). His specialist training in surgery took place at Whipps Cross University Hospital in London, UK, followed by the Clinic for Plastic Surgery Cologne-Merheim, Chair of the University of Witten-Herdecke.
Dr. Rippmann also completed his training with Professor Ivo Pitanguy at the Santa Casa da Misercordia Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, where he deepened his expertise in facelift and breast surgery in particular.
He received his doctorate in 2001 and was awarded the specialist title for plastic and aesthetic surgery in 2005. He has been a member of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (EBOPRAS) since 2006.
After a successful academic career, Dr. Rippmann worked as a senior physician at the University of Witten-Herdecke and the Clinic for Plastic Surgery at the Evangelical Hospital in Dortmund.
He opened his own private practice in Cologne in November 2008 and founded the world-renowned Metropolitan Aesthetics practice in Berlin and Cologne together with his colleague Christian Roessing in 2010.

Dr. Rippmann is a member of the German Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (DGPRÄC). In addition, he is an established speaker at prestigious surgical congresses worldwide and has developed his own plastic surgery training and research program to ensure that the highest international standards and treatment techniques are applied in his practices under his supervision.
